Jamie is an accomplished Exercise Physiologist, Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist, and six-time All-American women's professional football player. She has spent the last few years living in various parts of the country, gaining insight into different aspects of health and wellness. She is also Neurokinetic Therapy Level 1 Certified and our Holistic Nutritionist.
Prior to starting Ideal Athlete, Jamie was a Fitness Manager at Equinox in Chicago, one of the world's most innovative and luxurious health clubs, where she earned leadership and coaching approvals from the National Personal Training Coordinator.
Before moving back to Chicago, she was a highly successful trainer at the world's largest health club, PRO Sports Club, in Seattle where she specialized in weight loss for special populations.
Jamie also saw success working with more athletic populations as a personal trainer in Portland at ProClub Oregon, and as the Director of Strength and Conditioning and Nutrition for the infamous baseball academy, Northwest Diamond Sports. During this time, she worked with professional triathletes and crossfit athletes, high school multi-sport athletes, and D1 collegiate baseball and softball players. Jamie completed her Master's Degree at Fresno State where her thesis comparing the effects of two post-workout beverages on muscle damage and performance was awarded First Runner-up at the American College of Sports Medicine's (ACSM) International Conference in 2012. She earned her Bachelor's Degree in an accelerated Pre-Physical Therapy program, one of the first in the country to be accredited by the ACSM. During her time at Youngstown State, she was also on a Division 1 full-ride scholarship for softball. Jamie is originally from Indiana and is passionate about movement and quality of life!
